Oooh - one has been prevaricating around the bush as usual and I'm posting this an hour later than intended.
I'm just whizzing in to say Hi! and to wish you all a blessed Solstice for tomorrow.
Its my Mum's birthday tomorrow (21st) - she's a Solstice Child. She'll hate me telling you this but she's 70 years old. She has banned all talk of her age, and gets quite cross with us all reminding her of the fact that she has attained three score years and ten. She's not impressed in the slightest. We are, of course, being very sympathetic and respecting her wishes.
**Snigger.**
Not!!
To take her mind off such abhorrent things as 70th birthdays,(oops! Shhh!) my brother and I have booked the day off work and are kidnapping her for the day. Who knows where we may end up, however I have prepared a picnic of ham cobs, posh crisps, fruit salad, miniature pork pies and cans of gin and tonic (for Mum and I) for the journey.
I'll be sure to take photos!
Love and Light xx
